Per aver saputo raccontare un tema non nuovo –gli effetti dell’occupazione israeliana sulla vita quotidiana dei palestinesi, con una forza espressiva che promana dai più piccoli dettagli e dall’incalzante colonna sonora in una tensione narrativa che inchioda lo spettatore dentro  la gabbia-check-point approdando ad un finale vibrante ed inatteso.

For having succeeded in illustrating a theme that is not new – the effects of the Israeli occupation on the daily life of Palestinians – with an expressive force that emanates from the smallest details and from the pressing soundtrack in a narrative tension that keeps the spectator inside the cage-check-point, arriving at a vibrant and unexpected ending.

Per il coraggio e l’intensità emotiva con cui viene raccontata l’occupazione israeliana sin nelle pieghe della quotidianeità, attraverso lo sguardo e le parole di donne di Gaza che nonostante le ferite, continuano ad impegnarsi nel lavoro e nella vita privata per tessere rapporti e relazioni che permettono loro di restare umane.

For the courage and emotional intensity with which the Israeli occupation is presented right down to the folds of everyday life, through the eyes and words of women from Gaza who, despite their wounds, continue to commit themselves in their work and private lives to weaving relations that allow them to remain human.
